Those Little Things

Can we remember, that love was ours,
I miss all those little things between us
That has somehow slipped away
As time went on and the years took its toll
We lost those little beautiful things
That used to fill our heart and soul
And they disappeared into some dark corner
Where, I can’t seem to recollect
And search, I can’t seem to recover
I miss all those little things about us
Which made our smiles brighter?

Life can be hard and it often hurts
We say, we do, a lot of things
That we never really mean to say or do
And before it is taken back
The pain has sunk in, the wound is deep
It hurts more with every passing minute
And the Bridge forever breaks again

I miss all those little things about us;
The things that made us strong,
Those made us do a promise of forever
Those which dreams were made of
Coated with rainbow colors and sunshine
Can we bring back that dream again,
And let go of the pain and heartache
I miss all those little things we used to do
I miss those little things we shared
I miss those people whom we were
And also the people we could be
Let’s take a moment to rewind and remember,
Walk down that memory lane once again
And bring back that joy we felt together
To this moment forever and ever
